There is no time limit on completion of our courses, although the CDA Council does have a time limit for getting the CDA. If all courses are unused you may obtain a refund, minus a 15% restocking fee (please call first for your return authorization number), up to 30 days from the date of your order. Refunds are only given for the complete, unused set.
What is a CDA? - “CDA” stands for “Child Development Associate” and is a credential issued by the Council for Professional Recognition in Washington DC. The CDA can be used in various ways depending on your state and what type of child care facility and age of children you work with. A CDA is a professional credential, not a college degree. Ask your center director or call the Council at 1-800-424-4310 to see how a CDA can benefit you. The credential is awarded for three childcare settings: 1) Center-based, for which candidates receive endorsements to work with infants & toddlers or preschoolers; 2) Family Child Care; and 3) Home Visitor.
