Georgia Bright from the
Start (BFTS) regulations allow caregivers to count no more than 6
clock hours from any one course toward their annual training
requirement. You will notice in our course list that some of our
courses grant more than 6 clock hours. However, these courses are
approved by the Georgia BFTS for only 6 clock hours for the Georgia
annual training requirement. If you are using one of these courses
to get or renew a CDA or CCP credential, you may use all of the
clock hours. Georgia-specific certificates for courses that offer
more than 6 clock hours will indicate both the number of hours
approved for Georgia annual training and the number of hours you can
use for other purposes.

courses are currently approved by Georgia BFTS for Georgia annual
training hours.
