Distance Learning courses
offered by CARE Courses can be counted to meet
the in-service training requirements for day care center staff and day
care home and group day care home licensees and their assistants.
Employees in day care centers and assistants in family day care homes
should confirm with their employers that the courses are acceptable to
the employer.
The
course Children with Special Needs: Physical Disabilities when
accompanied by our special Illinois Early
Intervention System Information attachment is approved for the Illinois
disabilities training requirement. Please request the Illinois
attachment when you order this course. Illinois certificates for this
course will state that the course includes information on the Illinois
Early Intervention System to meet the Illinois disabilities training
requirement.
Illinois
foster parents may use the course Discipline in Childcare toward
their training requirements.
