Our courses are approved for in-service training for staff in licensed child care facilities and homes regulated by the North Carolina Division of Child Development. North Carolina child care staff may count up to 10 training hours of their required in-service hours using our courses. Please Note: Our courses Safe Baby, Safe Child and Infant Safety are not approved for North Carolina child care workers for ITS-SIDS training and cannot be used for in-service training. The course Let's Play Outdoors is approved, but not for the required 4-clock hours of safety training. North Carolina has specific rules regarding SIDS training, and SIDS training must be obtained in person from specifically trained and authorized presenters.
