Pennsylvania State Requirements: YES!  Our courses are approved by the Pennsylvania Dept. of Public Welfare (PA DPW) for DPW training hours (PQAS Trainer Approval Code CT-0015000) requirements for staff, directors and family homes.  We are also an approved provider of PA Act 48. 

From the Act 48 site:

"Continuing Professional Education is important in Pennsylvania.  Act 48 of 1999 requires all Pennsylvania educators holding Pennsylvania public school certification including Instructional I and II, Educational Specialist I and II, Administrative, Supervisory, Letters of Eligibility and all vocational certificates to participate in ongoing professional education. 

Pennsylvania Act 48 requires all PA certified educators to participate in ongoing professional education and must complete: six credits of collegiate study; or · six credits of continuing professional education courses; or 180 hours of continuing professional education programs, activities or learning experiences; or any combination of credits or activity hours equivalent to 180 hours (6/6/180), every five years for all types and areas of certification to maintain active status."
