This course addresses the four phases of the learning cycle: awareness, exploration, inquiry and application.  Creatively utilizing sponges, this course contains 16 delightful activities for young children that encourage curiosity and a lifetime appreciation for discovery and exploration.  Based on the book, Squishy, Squashy Sponges, this course covers cross-curricular activities in drama, art, literature, cooking and biology and follows the NAEYC guidelines for developmentally appropriate curriculum.
