The National Child Care Association (NCCA) has approved the following courses to meet the continuing education requirement to renew the National Administrator Credential (NAC). See special instructions below.

Child Care Administration 20 clock hours
Hiring the Best 10 clock hours
Improving Staff Performance 10 clock hours
Facilitating Staff Skill Development 14 clock hours
The Workplace Environment 14 clock hours
Money Management 40 clock hours
Basic Bookkeeping for Caregivers 34 clock hours
Parents and Child Care 20 clock hours
Managing Health and Safety in Child Care 12 clock hours
Sanitation for Disease Prevention in Child Care 5 clock hours
Conferencing with Parents 5 clock hours
Cultural Diversity in Early Childhood Programs 6 clock hours
Family Diversity 6 clock hours
Friendly Environments, Safe Environments 6 clock hours
Inclusive Early Childhood Programs 12 clock hours
Mixed Age Groups in Early Childhood Programs 3 clock hours
Let's Play Outdoors 10 clock hours
Transportation Safety 2 clock hours

NOTE: NCCA requires special documentation for NAC Continuing Education.
If you wish to use any of the courses listed above to renew your NAC, you must notify Care Courses when you send your lessons in for grading.

Write a note stating that you wish to use the course you have taken to renew your NAC.
Include the following information in your note:
Your name
Your complete mailing address
Your daytime phone number
The name of the course you want to use for NAC Continuing Education
Send the note to Care Courses with your Answer Sheet and Enrollment Card.

Care Courses will send you a letter that you can submit to the NCCA. This letter MAY BE MAILED SEPARATELY from your Answer Sheet and Certificate, but it should arrive at about the same time or soon after you receive your Answer Sheet and Certificate.
