Shawn"I am having a ball doing these courses. So much of it is very interesting and also touches a lot on what I learned in college. I decided to go into child care and my director recommended me to take the CDA course. I think it is great."

jane“I just want to say I enjoyed taking this online class. It’s was very easy to complete online, since I’m not much of a computer person. It was nice to work on it when it fit my hours."

Care Courses CourseBooks & Textbooks Format

A few of our courses come in a format that requires two books: a CourseBook and a Text Book. Together the two deliver everything you'll need to complete your work and get a certificate. CourseBooks and Textbooks are sent to you through the US mail and include the learning material, quizzes, and answer sheets.

This portable format allows you to complete your coursework wherever you go. You can read them anywhere, and they can be kept for quick reference throughout your career.  Because this format is mailed to you, it can take up to 10 business days to get to you via US Mail via our free standard shipping. Priority shipping can typically reduce this time to 4-5 business days.

Each Care Course contains quizzes that must be completed and submitted for grading and we recommend that you submit your work online. An enrollment code and instructions for activating online quizzing or mailing your work are included with the mailed CourseBook.

Our online quizzes work best when you have a PC (Windows XP or later) or Apple computer (OS X 10 or later) with an updated web browser and internet connection. For more specifics please click here.

If you fail a lesson (69% or less) you must redo the work and resubmit for grading. There is no additional charge to redo your work, and you are given one chance for redo (for a total of two submissions).

Official certificates of completion (which are free) include the name of the course, number of clock hours, number of generic CEUs, your name, the date, certificate ID number, your student ID number, Care Courses identifying information, and any specific wording required in your state. All certificates are accessed online in your online Care Courses account.
