Learning Outcomes for School-Age Children: Spatial Intelligence

Lesson 1: Spatial Intelligence

After completing Lesson 1, you will be able to

  • describe what is meant by intelligence;
  • describe the nine intelligences that every person possesses;
  • identify signs of children's spatial intelligence;
  • identify techniques for helping children develop spatial intelligence;
  • recognize the result of being unable to accurately interpret nonverbal language.

Lesson 2: Using the Spatial Learning Style

After completing Lesson 2, you will be able to

  • identify spatial learning techniques to enhance children’s learning, especially those children who prefer the spatial learning style;
  • name useful ways to show information and identify relationships among concepts;
  • identify what kinds of activities are recommended for different educational objectives.
