What are the benefits of having a CDA Credential in Maine?

In Maine

  • having a CDA qualifies you to work as a director or a head teacher in a childcare facility or nursery school licensed for 20 or fewer children.
  • having a CDA (plus additional experience) qualifies you to work as a director or a head teacher in a childcare facility or nursery school licensed for 21 or more children.
  • having a CDA qualifies you to work as a group leader in a childcare facility or nursery school licensed for 13 or more children.
