North Dakota Childcare Training Requirements

All Care Courses are accepted by North Dakota Growing Futures Early Childhood Workforce Registry for annual childcare licensing renewal and training requirements for those who work in child care centers, preschools, educational facilities, school-age programs, family child care homes, and group family child care homes. This includes directors, supervisors, teachers, group child care supervisors, providers, and volunteers.

Care Courses is an IACET accredited early childhood training organization and meets the requirements for an “Accepted Training Organization” as defined by North Dakota Growing Futures. Care Courses is considered an out-of-state training provider and our courses are not “pre-approved.”

To add Care Courses to your North Dakota Growing Futures Early Childhood Workforce Registry learning record, submit an individual request for training approval to the early childhood workforce registry within ninety (90) days of successfully completing the course. Growing Futures will evaluate the course and decide if it may be added to your record and used as clock hours toward your annual childcare license renewal and Career Pathways advancement.
