Care Courses Online Course Format
Online Courses
Online Courses are completed through the My Courses area of your online account. Online Courses are accessed almost immediately after ordering by activating an emailed enrollment code. Many students have chosen this format for its convenience, such as this student from Indiana: “I absolutely loved taking this online class and will be taking many more. I loved that I could read and take quizzes on my own time and I didn't have to drive anywhere and get half the information.”
Our online courses work best with an updated version of Google Chrome on a computer, tablet, or mobile phone. An internet connection is required. Please click here for more specifics on the requirements for our courses.
All Online Courses include a PDF copy of the course that can be printed. The PDF course file is accessed via a button entitled "Documents." The button is found on the left side of your course after you have activated the course enrollment code.
Read the material by progressing through the web pages or print the course on your own paper. Complete assessments and submit for grading. Please note: It may take up to 3 days for your course status to post in your account.
If you fail a lesson (69% or less) you must redo the work and resubmit for grading. There is no additional charge to redo your work, and you are given one chance for redo (for a total of two submissions). All quizzes are "open book" and all answers can be found in the material. Failure to get a passing score on the second submission will result in no certificate.
Official online certificates of completion include the name of the course, number of clock hours, number of IACET CEUs, your name, the date, certificate ID number, your student ID number, Care Courses identifying information, and any specific wording required in your state. Certificates are located in the My Courses area of your account to the right of the course title.
