Idaho Childcare Training Requirements: All Care Courses are accepted by the Department of Health and Welfare for annual ongoing training for staff, direct care staff, operators, volunteers and foster parents in daycare centers, family daycare homes, group daycare facilities, foster homes and children’s residential care facilities.

Care Courses is an approved IdahoSTARS trainer. Care Courses can help you earn Professional Development points in the Idaho STARS Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS). These points can increase your center’s STAR rating.
