It is the policy of Care Courses to only release student information, including information regarding the passing or failing of courses or of certificate status to the student him/herself and state authorities, registries, and licensing as requested. We maintain an Authorization to Release Information form that students must sign, scan and email (or sign and mail) to us to allow us to release information about their coursework and certificates to other persons.
Our shopping cart uses technology that ensures your personal and payment information is kept confidential and secure. When you provide us with any personal information including your name, address, e-mail and credit card number, it is processed over a secure connection on secure servers. We use Transport Layer Security (TLS) to encrypt all information you provide before sending it to our servers. TLS is the industry standard and the best software available for secure e-commerce transactions. "HTTPS" appears at the start of all Care Courses' URLs. The "HTTPS" indicates that the webpage is secured with TLS encryption.
Care Courses can only issue a certificate of completion for a course if that course is successfully completed prior to its expiration date. Courses expire one year (365 days) from the date of purchase. The course expiration date is listed next to the enrollment code in the online course enrollment code email and next to the enrollment code in the printed CourseBook enrollment code insert. CourseBook enrollment code inserts are located on the inside back cover of each mailed CourseBook. Course expiration dates are displayed next to each order in the Orders area of your Care Courses account. Failure to successfully complete a course by the expiration date will result in the course expiring and no certificate being issued. Certificates issued for courses that are successfully completed by the course expiration date do not expire. Expired courses are not eligible for refunds.
