Georgia Childcare Training Requirements  

 
All Care Courses (with the exception of Transportation Safety) are approved by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning to meet the 10 clock hours of annual training for those who work in child care learning centers, and family child care learning homes. This includes directors, teachers, lead teachers, lead caregivers, caregivers, aides, provisional employees and providers.

Please Note:
Our course Child Care Administration may be used to meet annual training requirements in Georgia, but it cannot be used towards meeting the 40 hour director training requirement in Georgia.

Care Courses are accepted by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission for the professional learning requirements for certificate renewal.
