Course Description

This course applies to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Learn the basic principles of children's development and learning and ways to apply these principles to ensure a high-quality, developmentally appropriate early childhood program. Principles of Child Development and Learning covers how to apply each principle to meet children's needs, help all children develop their strengths in all intelligences, and address all learning styles. Includes helpful lists of developmental milestones for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

This course is accepted for child care professional development training requirements in most states and for the CDA credential and for CDA renewal training requirements.
