New York OCFS Childcare Training Requirements: 
All Care Courses are approved for New York State’s continuing education training requirements for those who work in child day care centers, family day care homes, group family day care homes and small day care centers. This includes staff, directors, group teachers, assistant teachers, owners, providers, caregivers, assistants and substitutes. Please note: Care Courses may not be used for the New York required 15-hour pre-service health and safety training.

CDA and NAC: New York child care providers may use our courses toward a CDA, as well as CDA, NAC renewal. Click for more information: CDA and NAC 

SUNY EIP Training Awards: All courses are eligible for funding through the SUNY Educational Incentive Program (EIP) training awards. Please call 1-800-295-9616 for information about EIP awards. To apply online for an EIP award, click here: EIP APPLICATION. For assistance filling out the training information portion (Section 3) of your application, call Care Courses: 1-800-685-7610. Already received an EIP award? Review Section A of your award to verify all information is correct, sign and date the award then mail it to Care Courses along with your completed order form.

Please Note: Child care providers in New York City who fall under the jurisdiction of the NYC Department of Health should check with their consultant to make sure that Care Courses will be accepted.
