All Care Courses are approved for New York State’s continuing education training requirements for those who work in child day care centers, family day care homes, group family day care homes and small day care centers. This includes staff, directors, group teachers, assistant teachers, owners, providers, caregivers, assistants and substitutes.
Please note: Care Courses may not be used for the New York required 15-hour pre-service health and safety training.
The New York Office of Children and Family Services requires that all child care staff complete a minimum of 30 hours of training every two years addressing all of the following ten topics:

All Care Courses are eligible for funding through the SUNY EIP Educational Incentive Program. To apply online for an EIP award, click here: EIP APPLICATION. Already have an EIP award? All Care Courses are approved by the New York Aspire Registry. For Aspire Registry training credit, add your Aspire registry ID number to your Care Courses account. Once you have added it, email us at email@example.com so that we can report your training.
