All Care Courses are accepted by the Oregon Office of Child Care for training requirements for those who work in certified child care centers, certified family child care homes and registered family child care homes. This includes clock hours for directors, head teachers, teachers, teacher aides, operators, owners, site directors, site coordinators, providers, caregivers, substitute providers, assistants, volunteers and registered family child care providers.
The Oregon Early Learning Division requires that at least 8 out of the required 15 hours be in one or more of the Oregon core knowledge categories below.

All Care Courses are accepted for Oregon Registry Steps 1-7. Oregon Step information is included on all certificates. Care Courses are Set 1 trainings. The Oregon Registry Online (ORO) does not accept repeated set 1 trainings. You can find Set 2 and 3 trainings by using the Oregon Registry search tools.
Note: Child Abuse and Neglect: A Caregiver's Guide to Adverse Childhood Experiences may not be used for the first year abuse and neglect requirement.
Infants in Child Care, Toddlers in Child Care, Keeping Infants Safe, and Biting Hurts may all be used toward the 60 clock hours of training required to obtain this credential. Information on this credential can be found here.
