Using Care Courses to qualify as a Lead Caregiver in Michigan means you will be qualifying under Rule 400.8122 (6) option (f) of the Michigan Licensing rules for Child Care Centers. This option states you must have a high school diploma/GED, 18 CEUs (180 clock hours) of coursework in early childhood education, child development or child-related field and 1,920 hours of work experience.
